Here is a view of Downtown Melbourne from a balcony of a 12 storey building (one of the residences we visited). Melbourne is so beautiful: the old bits make it look like London and the modern parts are so California like. So that's the best of both worlds. Loads of other pics on Picassa( link on the top right).Today was Australia day, mate! Everyone was outside barbequeuing and getting drunk, just like in any other sunny city.

The pictures are awesome. I love cities with palm trees and bright-coloured buildings. I also wish I was somewhere warm too right now..
